During our recent holiday in Florence, my friends and I had the great privilege of experiencing the private guided tour of Uffizzi, Academia Gallery and Medici Chapel, with Agata Chrzanowska.
As a PhD holder in the history of art, she has an immense knowledge on a subject of art, which translates to a very thorough, efficient and at the same time pleasant and stress free visit to the museums. From the ticket reservation, through "skip the line" entry, effortless navigation round the enormous riches of Florentine museums, to genuine delicious and honestly priced Tuscan food in an authentic osteria recommended by Agata, we have had an enormously gratifying experience.
On top of her professional qualifications she has an authentic love for Florence, Tuscany and Italy as a whole, and seeing Florence through her eyes made this city even more beautiful. To cap it all, she is a very eloquent, friendly, and at the same time a very tactful person with a great sense of humour!
I cannot stress enough how fulfilling the whole experience was, and how we regretted not being able to book at least one more day with her because she was fully booked!
During my travels I often book guided tours, but must admit that the quality offered by Agata is, at least so far, equal to none!
